Understanding Webflow Plans

First thing that you need to know is that Webflow has two categories of plans. Both of them serve different functions. Most of our clients are most confused about this. Some of the common questions that they asked are

  1. Do we need to purchase all the plans?
  2. I just need to host my website. What plan should I buy?
  3. Can I edit my website without the team plan?

Do take note that the amount listed in this article are based on annual subscription.

Site Plans

Site plans are necessary for you to start hosting your website on Webflow with your custom domain. Basically, if you need a website to be live using www.yourbusiness.com, this plan works for you. Site plans do also come with two categories which is listed below. The plans can easily be upgraded and downgraded anytime you need.

  1. General
    1. Starter: There are no trial plans in Webflow, so basically you are able to use them for free, forever. But there is a certain limitation to starter plans. You can only design up to 2 pages.
    2. Basic: This plan allows you to add your custom domain. Most clients who needs a website and doesn't require a blog will start using this plan. Starts at US$14/month.
    3. CMS: When your company starts writing articles for your users, this option is the most viable. Starts at US$23/month.
    4. Business: For content heavy websites which publishes content almost every day, we would recommend you this plan to start with. Starts at US$39/month.
    5. Enterprise - Contact them directly
  2. E-Commerce
    1. Standard: For businesses that wants to build an online store, the standard e-commerce plan would be an ideal fit for you. You do not need to purchase any general plans if you are planning to use an e-commerce plan. Starts at US$29/month.
    2. Plus: Allows up to 5,000 e-commerce items. Starts at US$74/month.
    3. Advanced: Scaling up your online business to a new level. Allows up to 15,000 e-commerce items. Starts at US$212/month.

Workspace Plans

Most clients don't require a workspace plan unless they are ready to grow their in-house design team. They usually just need to add us as a guest editor (because we have an agency plan) for us to maintain and update their website.

  1. In-house teams
    1. Starter: Most clients of ours are on the free plan. They can have an unlimited number of paid hosted sites. It's good if they have multiple landing pages in their workspace. But you can only host 2 staging sites with limited pages.
    2. Core: Similar to starter plans but you are able to host 10 staging sites. This is perfect for small teams. Starts at US$19/month per user.
    3. Growth: Perfect for growing or larger teams who needs unlimited staging websites. Starts at US$49/month per user.
    4. Enterprise - Contact them directly
  2. Freelancers & Agencies
    1. Starter - Free
    2. Freelancer - Starts at US$16/month per user
    3. Agency - Starts at US$35/month per user

Conclusion

We hope that this article will make it clearer and easier for you to understand the Webflow plans and be part of the no-code movement.
