Hey! I bet you're new here.

You might be starting out as a freelancer, or maybe a designer who is trying to pitch to your bosses about using Webflow. (We get it!)

We are pretty sure the question that they are going to ask would be how much does it cost for us to convert to Webflow?

It might be confusing at first but once you start breaking down on how Webflow's pricing work, it is pretty easy to convince your bosses to switch!

Plan Categories

First of all, there are 3 categories that you need to know.

  1. Starter Plan. For users who are just trying out Webflow.
  2. Site Plans. This is the most common that users signed up for. This is where they get to host their websites; be it their landing pages, blogs or even e-commerce.
  3. Workspaces. These are for freelancers or agencies who will be using Webflow as part of their service to clients. Like us!

Now let us get into the details of each plan.

Starter Plan

Don't you love anything free? Well, we do!

For all users who are in the starter plan, you can start designing your awesome website without having to pay a single cent, yet. You will be given access to a limited number of CMS items, form submissions and bandwidth. You will be able to publish your website to a webflow.io domain. (again, it's free!) So you will have something like https://yourawesomesite.webflow.io (ain't this great?)

  • 50 CMS items
  • 50 form submissions (lifetime)
  • 1GB bandwidth
Do note that once you have created an account with Webflow, you will have access to their tutorials listed in https://university.webflow.com/. Super awesome right?

Site Plans

Let's just say that once you have spent countless hours of perfecting your site and you've decided that you want to connect your website to a custom domain. This is when you will have to get a site plan for your website. Site plans are basically hosting platforms for your site.

This is where you get to choose if you want to add CMS or e-commerce plan for your site.

Pricing starts at USD$ 14/month (billed yearly) or USD$ 18/month (billed monthly) for their basic site plan.

Workspaces

The only major difference between Workspaces and Site Plans is that you will be charged per user instead of per website.

Hence for freelancers or agencies who are providing web design services using Webflow, they should get this plan. For in-house teams, they should get this plan team if they are planning to grow their web design team.

  1. In-House Teams. Plans start at USD $19 per user per month. (billed yearly)
  2. Freelancers or Agencies. Plans start at USD $16 per user per month. (billed yearly)

So which Webflow Plan is suitable for you?

First of all, determine what are you going to use Webflow for as a user?

  1. Are you a designer to show your awesome portfolio to the world?
  2. Are you an agency that provide web design services?
  3. Are you looking to design and host your website yourself?
  4. Are you looking for someone to build your website for you and host it on Webflow?

In Conclusion

We won't go into a detailed view of Webflow's pricing. You can view them at their pricing page which explains the details and services that you are going to get. Certainly, there is no plan that fits all but by finding out what you or even what your clients need can help you determine which plan works best for you.
