Webflow pricing is split into two separate structures: Site Plans (per website, for hosting and publishing) and Workspace Plans (per user, for collaboration and project management). Most business owners only need a Site Plan. The CMS Plan at US$23/month is the most popular choice for marketing websites, whilst agencies and freelancers typically add a Workspace Plan on top. This guide explains every tier, what it costs, and — crucially — what you can safely skip.

Why Webflow Pricing Feels Confusing (And Why It Does not Have to Be)

If you have landed on Webflow's pricing page for the first time, you may have noticed something a little unusual: there appear to be two separate pricing sections — one for Sites and one for Workspaces. Then there are ecommerce tiers, CMS limits, bandwidth caps, and a free plan that does not seem to do very much at all.

It is enough to make many business owners close the tab and go back to WordPress.

But here is the truth: once you understand what each pricing category is actually for, the decision becomes straightforward. As a Webflow design agency based in Singapore, we guide clients through this every week. This guide gives you everything you need to make the right call — without overpaying.

How Webflow Pricing Works: The Two-Plan System

Webflow charges for two fundamentally different things:

  • Hosting your website — managed via Site Plans, billed per website
  • Accessing the designer and collaborating — managed via Workspace Plans, billed per user

You do not automatically need both. Let us break down each one.

Webflow Site Plans: What They Are and What They Cost

A Site Plan is what allows your Webflow website to go live on a custom domain — for example, www.yourbusiness.com. Without a Site Plan, your site can only be accessed on a Webflow.io staging URL, which is fine for development but not for public-facing use.

Site Plans are billed per website. If you own three websites, you need three Site Plans.

Starter Plan — Free Forever

The Starter Plan is Webflow's free tier. It is designed for learning the platform, testing ideas, and creating staging previews — not for live production sites.

What is included:

  • Access to the Webflow Designer
  • A Webflow.io staging subdomain
  • Up to 2 static pages
  • Limited CMS items (up to 50)
  • Up to 500 form submissions per month
  • Access to Webflow University (free tutorials and courses)

The Starter Plan is useful if you are evaluating Webflow before committing or working through a new design before launch. It is not suitable for live business websites.

Basic Plan — US$14/month (billed annually)

The Basic Plan is designed for simple, static websites — typically brochure sites with no blog or CMS content. If your site has fixed pages (Home, About, Services, Contact) and does not require a content management system, this plan is sufficient.

What is included:

  • Custom domain hosting
  • SSL certificate
  • AWS and Fastly CDN hosting
  • Up to 150 static pages
  • Up to 500 form submissions per month

What it lacks: CMS functionality. If you ever want to add a blog, case studies, or a resources section, you will need to upgrade.

CMS Plan — US$23/month (billed annually)

The CMS Plan is the most popular choice for marketing websites, business blogs, news portals, and agencies managing client content. It unlocks Webflow's CMS, which is one of the platform's most powerful features.

What is included:

  • Everything in Basic
  • Up to 2,000 CMS items (blog posts, case studies, team members, etc.)
  • Up to 1,000 form submissions per month
  • 3 content editors (no Workspace Plan required for editing)

This is the plan we recommend for most of our clients at ALF Design Group. It is cost-effective, scales well for content-driven businesses, and covers the needs of the vast majority of SMEs.

Business Plan — US$39/month (billed annually)

The Business Plan is designed for high-traffic websites and businesses with a larger volume of content and form submissions.

What is included:

  • Everything in CMS
  • Up to 10,000 CMS items
  • Up to 2,500 form submissions per month
  • 10 content editors
  • Increased bandwidth

Unless you are running a high-volume publication or expect significant traffic spikes, most businesses will not need the Business Plan immediately. You can always upgrade when your site outgrows the CMS tier.

Ecommerce Plans — US$42–$212/month (billed annually)

Webflow also offers ecommerce-specific plans for businesses selling products online. These replace (rather than stack on top of) standard Site Plans.

Standard$29~ SGD37Small online stores (<500 items)

Webflow Workspace Plans: For Teams, Freelancers and Agencies

Workspace Plans are separate from Site Plans entirely. They determine how many projects you can manage in Webflow's designer and how many collaborators can work on those projects simultaneously. Think of it this way: a Site Plan is like renting a plot of land to build on; a Workspace Plan is like paying for the tools and the team.

You need a Workspace Plan if you are:

  • A freelancer managing multiple client projects
  • Part of an in-house web or marketing team
  • A web design agency managing dozens of active client sites

Most individual business owners who just want a website do not need a Workspace Plan.

Do You Need Both a Site Plan and a Workspace Plan?

For most Singapore businesses commissioning a website build, the answer is no. You only need a Site Plan. Your agency or developer handles the Workspace. Once the site is handed over, you manage content directly through your Site Plan's editor seats — at no extra cost.

Where the combination matters is for agencies and growing in-house teams. At ALF Design Group, for example, our team runs an Agency Workspace Plan for collaboration and project management, whilst each client site operates on its own Site Plan for hosting.

Webflow Pricing in Singapore: What Local Businesses Should Know

Webflow is priced in US dollars, which means Singapore businesses are subject to currency fluctuation. At the current rate of approximately SGD 1.36 to the US dollar, a CMS Site Plan costs around SGD 31/month billed annually — roughly SGD 373 per year. This is competitive compared to equivalent managed hosting solutions.

There are a few other considerations relevant to Singapore businesses:

  • GST applicability: Webflow charges GST where applicable. Singapore-registered businesses should check their billing settings to ensure GST compliance.
  • No local hosting option: Webflow uses AWS and Fastly CDN globally. There is no Singapore-specific data centre, but CDN edge nodes mean performance in Southeast Asia is generally strong.
  • Payment methods: Webflow accepts major credit cards and is compatible with Stripe billing. Local bank transfers or PayNow are not currently supported directly by Webflow.
  • Enterprise plans available: For large organisations or financial institutions with compliance requirements, Webflow offers custom enterprise pricing. This is particularly relevant for financial services firms in Singapore considering a migration.

How to Choose the Right Webflow Plan: A Simple Decision Guide

Use this as a quick decision framework:

  1. Are you just learning or experimenting? → Start with the Starter Plan (free)
  2. Do you need a live website with your own domain, static pages only?Basic Plan (US$14/month)
  3. Do you want a blog, resource library, or dynamic content?CMS Plan (US$23/month) — our most recommended tier
  4. Is your site high-traffic or content-heavy (10,000+ items)?Business Plan (US$39/month)
  5. Are you building or managing multiple client sites? → Add a Workspace Plan on top
  6. Are you selling products online? → Choose an Ecommerce Plan instead of a Site Plan

The True Cost of Webflow vs Other Platforms

When evaluating Webflow's pricing, it is worth considering the total cost of ownership — not just the headline monthly fee.

Compared to WordPress, a Webflow CMS Plan at US$23/month may appear more expensive than a basic WordPress hosting plan. However, WordPress requires ongoing expenditure on:

  • Premium themes and page builder plugins (Elementor, ACF, etc.) — often US$50–200/year each
  • Security plugins (Wordfence, Sucuri) — US$100+/year
  • Performance plugins (WP Rocket, caching tools) — US$50+/year
  • Developer time to apply updates, fix plugin conflicts, and patch vulnerabilities

Webflow consolidates all of this into a single plan. There are no plugins to maintain, no security patches to apply manually, and no theme conflicts. As detailed in our guide on why businesses prefer Webflow for website design, this often makes Webflow more cost-efficient over a 2–3 year horizon.

Similarly, when compared to Wix, Webflow offers significantly more design control, better SEO capabilities, and a more scalable architecture — which matters when your business grows.

What Every Webflow Site Plan Includes (Regardless of Tier)

All paid Webflow Site Plans come with the following as standard:

  • Free SSL certificate
  • Global CDN hosting via AWS and Fastly
  • Automatic backups
  • Custom domain connection
  • SEO controls (meta tags, Open Graph, sitemaps, robots.txt)
  • Form submissions
  • Password-protected pages

The SEO capabilities built into Webflow are particularly strong compared to other website builders, making it a favourite among marketing agencies and SEO professionals.

Webflow Website Maintenance: Is It an Additional Cost?

One question we frequently receive from Singapore businesses is whether Webflow website maintenance is included in the plan price.

The short answer: Webflow's platform maintenance (hosting uptime, security updates, CDN performance) is fully managed by Webflow and included in your Site Plan. You do not need to worry about server maintenance.

However, content updates, design changes, and ongoing SEO work are separate. If your internal team cannot handle these, you may want to consider a website maintenance retainer from an agency. At ALF Design Group, our maintenance plans start at SGD 650/month and cover up to five content requests per month — ideal for businesses that want their Webflow site to stay fresh without managing it in-house.

A Note from Our Agency: Helping Clients Choose the Right Plan

When we prepare a new Webflow project for a client, one of our first conversations is always about plan selection. The most common misconception we encounter is that businesses assume they need the most expensive plan. In reality:

  • Most SMEs in Singapore are well-served by the CMS Plan (US$23/month)
  • Startups and micro-businesses can often start with the Basic Plan
  • E-commerce businesses should evaluate the Ecommerce Standard Plan before jumping to Plus

We also recommend clients explore what Webflow is worth for their specific use case before making a final decision. The platform is not the right fit for every business — but when it is, the value-to-cost ratio is exceptional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need both a Site Plan and a Workspace Plan?

No, not necessarily. Most business owners commissioning a website only need a Site Plan to host their site. A Workspace Plan is needed if you are a freelancer, agency, or internal team member who needs to manage multiple projects or collaborate with colleagues inside the Webflow designer.

What is the difference between a Site Plan and a Workspace Plan?

A Site Plan covers hosting for a specific published website — it unlocks your custom domain, SSL, CDN, CMS, and form submissions. A Workspace Plan covers your access to the Webflow designer and how many projects you can work on simultaneously. Think of it as the difference between renting space (Site Plan) and paying for your working tools (Workspace Plan).

Which Webflow plan is best for a marketing website with a blog?

The CMS Plan at US$23/month (billed annually) is ideal. It gives you full access to Webflow CMS, which allows you to create and manage blog posts, landing pages, case studies, or any other structured content — with up to 2,000 CMS items included.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my Webflow plan?

Yes. Webflow allows you to switch between plans at any time. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged the pro-rated difference. If you downgrade, the change typically takes effect at the next billing date. There is no long-term lock-in.

How much does Webflow cost per year in Singapore dollars?

Based on an approximate exchange rate of USD 1 = SGD 1.36: the Basic Plan costs around SGD 229/year, the CMS Plan costs around SGD 376/year, and the Business Plan costs around SGD 637/year. These figures will vary with currency fluctuation, and GST may apply.

Is Webflow hosting included in the plan price?

Yes. All paid Webflow Site Plans include managed hosting on AWS infrastructure delivered via Fastly's global CDN. There is no separate hosting fee — unlike WordPress, where you pay for hosting independently and must manage the server environment yourself.

What happens if I cancel my Webflow Site Plan?

If you cancel, your website will revert to the Starter Plan. Your custom domain will become inaccessible, and the site will only be viewable on its Webflow.io staging URL. Your content, CMS data, and design are retained within your Webflow account — you do not lose your work, though it will no longer be publicly accessible until a plan is reinstated.

Final Thoughts: Webflow Is Priced for Real Business Value

Webflow's pricing structure may seem layered at first glance, but it is genuinely well-designed for different user types. The Site Plan handles your hosting with no surprises, the Workspace Plan handles collaboration, and the two operate independently so you only pay for what you actually use.

For most Singapore businesses, a Webflow CMS Plan at US$23/month — roughly SGD 31/month — is the sweet spot. It gives you everything you need to run a professional, high-performing marketing website without the overhead of plugins, security patches, or developer dependency.

If you are unsure which plan fits your situation, or if you are considering a Webflow website build for your business, we are happy to advise. Our team at ALF Design Group helps businesses across Singapore find the most cost-effective setup — from plan selection through to ongoing website maintenance.
